Vicky Donor - review

I don't wanna review this honestly. Cos i want you to enjoy this movie. Its such a pleasant experience through such a socially difficult subject.

The only glitch is that sperm donation doesn't pay as much as they show in the movie. (read DNA front page article today.)

I am a huge fan of comedy, specially if it touches the humors of daily life. And Vicky Donor brings that out with refreshing charm.

Usually in commercial Bollywood movies, usually regional characters (e.g. A Bengali or Punjabi) is shown in a typecast overplayed characterization. For e.g. a South Indian character will keep screeching out an "Ayyo!".

Over here, they play their part so well. Like when the Bengali dad reacts to the news of a prospective Punjabi husband or his casualness when he hears his son-in-law is a sperm donor shows a consistency maintained in the characterization.

When such nitty-gritties in cinema are maintained, I am overwhelmed by such movies/plays.

So go over enjoy this unconventional story.

God bless John Abraham for entering production. Please give us more such fares.
